ASOS wishlist

It's getting a bit close to payday, and I'm itching to spend money I don't have, so share my pain and have a look through my most current ASOS wants...

Lush // Angels on bare skin

My current favourite face-wash is this little beauty from Lush (where else...?). This is so unbelievably gentle I feel like a new baby every time I wash my face.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour // Seduction

I've been after a liquid lipstick for a while (a nude one specifically - jumping straight on the Kylie Jenner bandwagon) but hadn't really found one that I liked the look of - a lot of the shades were simply too dark or too brown for my skin tone. I actually picked this one up in Superdrug where it was on offer for £6.99. The usual price is £8.99 I think, so a lot cheaper than other brands.

New Favourite Primer?

I think by now we've all heard of the Nivea post shave balm-as-primer trend, and although I haven't tried it, due to a severe lack of clean shaven men in my life to steal from, I have been using the 'Nivea Sun' suncream and it is FABULOUS.

Beauty Junkie // You Scrub Up Well

I first picked these up about a month ago, in the slightly smaller Urban Outfitters on Oxford Street. I thought they'd make a good alternative to cotton wool pads for removing makeup but I have to say that I've been really disappointed by them.

Why I wish there were more Tess Hollidays'

Tess Holliday is an American model, the first model over a size 20 to be signed to a major modelling agency, and the creator of "eff your beauty standards" - a campaign designed to show the world that you can be beautiful whether your a size 2 or 20.

Boux Avenue Lovin'

I still remember the horror of bra shopping as a teen. I was a chubby, awkward child, who had unfortunately inherited my dad’s chest…

Homemade Baileys Marshmallows

I've had such a fabulous weekend; I went to Camden for the day with some friends, and despite the awful weather, it turned out to be a really fun day. Once we got home, we set about making marshmallows, which turned into the most delicious disaster!

Urban Zen// Swansea

I went to visit my boyfriend in Swansea over valentine’s weekend, and on the recommendation of his flatmate, we went to Urban Zen.

21 and Fabulous

Well, theres no getting away from it now... I turned 21 on Friday, meaning that I'm officially old. So before I slowly decline into adulthood (I purchased my first pair of reading glasses, so presumably the grey hair and wrinkles will be following shortly) I decided to celebrate fabulously...

Lush Butterbear

I'm not usually a bath sort of person, probably because our wifi doesn't reach the bathroom so no Netflix for me, and really what else are you supposed to do in there? But when my lovely housemate Camara got me the Lush Butterbear for Christmas, I had to try it.

My Goals For 2016

It's amazing how much can change in a year... At the start of 2015 I was a university drop out, I spent my time either at my part time waitress job or in bed, and my mental health was in tatters. I never went out, and barely saw anyone which further added to how down I was feeling; I was lonely, sad and frustrated. I cried a lot. I was horrid to be around. I couldn't see how worried people were, and pushed them away, convinced I could deal with it myself.  Looking back it was truly the darkest period of my life.
