My current favourite face-wash is this little beauty from Lush (where else...?). This is so unbelievably gentle I feel like a new baby every time I wash my face.
I've been after a liquid lipstick for a while (a nude one specifically - jumping straight on the Kylie Jenner bandwagon) but hadn't really found one that I liked the look of - a lot of the shades were simply too dark or too brown for my skin tone. I actually picked this one up in Superdrug where it was on offer for £6.99. The usual price is £8.99 I think, so a lot cheaper than other brands.
I think by now we've all heard of the Nivea post shave balm-as-primer trend, and although I haven't tried it, due to a severe lack of clean shaven men in my life to steal from, I have been using the 'Nivea Sun' suncream and it is FABULOUS.
I first picked these up about a month ago, in the slightly smaller Urban Outfitters on Oxford Street. I thought they'd make a good alternative to cotton wool pads for removing makeup but I have to say that I've been really disappointed by them.
I'm not usually a bath sort of person, probably because our wifi doesn't reach the bathroom so no Netflix for me, and really what else are you supposed to do in there? But when my lovely housemate Camara got me the Lush Butterbear for Christmas, I had to try it.
Firstly, apologies for such a long gap in posts, I've been taking a break to concentrate on my studies as deadlines are looming (I haven't started stress crying yet though, so that's a positive), but when I recieved my "Love Me Beauty" package in the post, I was too excited not to share...
I have been a massive fan of the Naked palette since I got it a few months ago. I love the range of neutrals, there are so many palettes in my makeup bag that go unused due to the fact they have one or two great everyday colours, and the rest are so unsuitable; bright blues, very yellow ochres and acid greens - colours that work for 90's themed nights out but not for everyday pale girls. So here are my three favourite looks using the Naked 1 palette.
I am currently in love with Barry M nail varnishes; I love the range of colours, an endlessly diverse array of finishes, and at £3.99 for 10ml they are scrumptiously purse friendly too.
I picked up the "Vanilla" and "Mocha" on Saturday, both from Boots. I must admit I was tempted by the names firstly, and secondly by the fact that I've been on the hunt for a good nude colour for ages...
I have always had very pale, sensitive skin, and have always struggled with it... Its been too dry, too red, I've had acne, freckles, flaking, every skin care problem really. Its never been horrendous, until I woke up after a trip to Cardiff - my skin had became red, sore and acne ridden literally over night. While I'd always had bad skin, it had never been this bad. Time to take action.
